The CARLY filter drier: 3 in 1
CARLY innovates by launching on the market a new product concept: the filter drier receiver with integrated liquid sight glass. The great interest of this product is to offer 3 functions usually performed by 3 different components.
This new filter drier is developed to fit in refrigeration and air conditioning equipments and small capacity heat pumps as well.
It will replace with advantage 3 different products. The benefits for the user are obvious.
The filter drier receiver with liquid sight glass is a multifunction product that ensures:
- filtration (12 microns)
- drying
- acid neutralization
- liquid refrigerant storage
- monitoring of moisture in the refrigerant
- visualisation of the refrigerant state (bubbles), thanks to a normal big size sight glass (24 mm diameter).
The “3 products in 1” concept gives the following benefits:
- Less room space in the installation. OEMs can then optimize the design of their machines with a compacter refrigeration system.
- Savings in assembling and brazing times. With 3 components to one single, the time of preparation in the factory is optimized. Besides, brazing time is divided by 3 (2 brazing operations instead of 6), and for cleaning operations as well.
- Benefits for quality. By reducing the number of brazes, the risks of leaks are cut in the same proportion.
- Benefits for logistics. 1 product reference to manage instead of 3. Benefits on the administrative cost of orders, at the level of the stock of products, and transportation costs. Optimisation in the stock of material in the factory.
The complete product is manufactured in the factory and every unit is controlled.
The customisation of the product is possible through the following parameters:
- Volume of liquid receiver
- Volume of chemical agents; thus the drying and acid neutralisation capacities
- Connexion diameter
- Colour
- Kind of packaging.
Other options are available too:
